History of FIF
Our Founders

ANNIE NYQVIST
Annie is working at Frontenac as an Associate. Originally from Sweden, she came to the U.S. in 2016 for a cultural exchange program and later came back for school. At DePaul, she has dedicated most of her time to Supplemental Instruction and as a member of the Keeley Center Academy, has interned at Byline Bank, and was an FP&A intern at Citadel.
Annie has always been a strong advocate for social justice in all forms. She strongly attributes her mother to be the reason she has always been supporting her peers; encouraging them to speak up for themselves and others, and demand justice. She now hopes to create something concrete where she can reach and empower so many more students and females.

SEERAT KALER
I currently work at Boston Consulting Group as a Senior Knowledge Analyst. I am currently building a career in banking and capital markets while strengthening underwriting and credit skills. I am passionate about advocating and mentoring for underrepresented minorities and women.
Creating FIF means creating opportunities for others that I wish I had earlier in life. There is immense power in people coming together to help each other succeed. I’m passionate about helping deserving students pursue finance as a career while bringing light to women’s issues.
